SCRIPT COVERAGE SERVICES

Coverage services are for teleplays, feature-length screenplays, shorts, outlines, and treatments. For consultation on podcasts, web series, and other narrative scripts please contact me via the web form.

ALL scripts submitted will be read in their entirety. Each analysis will cover the script's strengths and weaknesses, and suggestions on ways to improve any issues presented. Each script will be evaluated based on the following criteria: Premise, structure, plot, characters & dialogue.

Please allow 7 business days for completion. Reviews can be done in a shorter time frame for a separate fee. For more expedited times than those below please contact me and let me know your needs.

Remember these services do not guarantee you will place or win in a screenwriting competition or fellowship. I am here to help you submit the best script possible. Competitions are often subjective and winners are chosen at the sole discretion of the competition organizers. These services are not affiliated with the Austin Film Festival©, Screencraft©, or any competition mentioned on this site.

Sure, your mom and best friend may like reading your scripts but do they know about structure, pacing or character development (if so then by all means keep using them!)?

All scripts will be read in their entirety. For scripts over 140 pages, a $25 fee will be applied.

How to checkout:

  1. Pick which service you would like.

  2. Find your payment company of choice and scan the QR code or open the app on your phone and send the amount for your chosen service package.

  3. Email StevenDeBose512@gmail.com with the subject line as follows: Your name, the service package you chose, whether it’s a feature, pilot, or short, and attach your FULL script in PDF format and send.

  4. You will receive a confirmation email and receipt from me and then receive your full notes within the allocated amount of time for your package. If your package also comes with a phone/video call, I will reach out with proposed days and times.

BASIC
Feature - $125
TV/Shorts - $75

Steven will read your screenplay and write a minimum 500 ( roughly 1 page) word analysis, along with a usable logline and a rating on each section. Notes will cover the essential screenplay conventions (concept, plot, structure, characters, and dialogue, along with an overall thoughts section. This will be emailed to you within 7 business days.

DELUXE
Feature - $200
TV/Shorts - $150

Steven will read your screenplay and write a minimum 1500 (roughly 2.5 pages) analysis, along with a usable logline and a rating on each section. Notes will cover the essential screenplay conventions (concept, plot, structure, characters, and dialogue, along with an overall thoughts section. As well, he will act as an editor, proofreading and noting any errors in spelling, grammar, or punctuation that are present with on the page notes.  This will be emailed to you within 7 business days.

 

PREMIER (the fastest option)
Feature - $275
TV - $225

Steven will read your screenplay and write a minimum 2500 (roughly 4.5 pages) analysis, along with a usable logline and a rating on each section. Notes will cover the essential screenplay conventions (concept, plot, structure, characters, and dialogue, along with an overall thoughts section. This will be emailed to you. As well he will act as an editor, proofreading and noting any errors in spelling, grammar, or punctuation that are present with on the page notes. This will be emailed to you within 3 business days. He will also set up a time to talk directly via phone or Zoom for half an hour to answer any questions you may have about your script.
